Carb Cleaning Question
« on: August 06, 2008, 06:29:03 PM »
Alright so I have one carb completely apart, and before I go dipping the thing in cleaner, i have a question.

Do I need to removed a bushing/seal that is sit in the carb body itself, and goes around the choke shaft? Will carb dip eat this, it appears to be fibrous.

Im saving as much as possible because that seems to be the general consensus around here, to not waste the money on the keyster kits, or other kits.

Any comments?

Dave

Yes, if it is plastic or something like plastic you should remove it.  There is a chance the harsh cleaner will remove it for you.
