well,thats some good news on the find...
sucks that the headgasket is leaking....does it have the same o ring plaque as the 650's???

not that I know of. but I hope an easy quarter turn on the head bolts will put this problem to bed. I hope the head gasket is in good shape. My ride was about 10 mins long, and I did jump on the free way, reving it pretty high.

It just dawned on me your statement. Crap, the only place the oil can be coming from is that one oil gallery, sealed by one o-ring. The only way the oil is coming out is if the o-ring didn't get seated properly. Figuring that there are 3-4 head bolts in that area, the chance of my missing the torque on each bolt is not likely. Doh!

Any other ideas?
