CB400F Exhaust
« on: August 09, 2008, 04:49:39 AM »
Hi, I'm finally getting around to restoring my '77 400f after riding it like crazy, and the only thing I'm having problems with is finding an exhaust in good shape.  I believe the '75-'77 had the same muffler and pipes, so anyone have one in their garage they want to sell?  Thanks!

to be honest I think you have more chance of finding rocking horse sh!t than finding a good used genuine 400f exhaust system, an after market is probably best bet but the real Honda looks by far the best. The 400 only was built 75-77 and yes only one system used.

David Silver Spares sells a reproduction unit that you can't tell from OEM.

Not cheap of course.

You can find them on the web.  They're in England, but shipping is reasonable and very prompt.
