Will a 1972 CB500 honda fork bottom fit a CB750 69-72 fork tube?

Hello Sam, I too was trying to mix n' match some parts between bike models a short while ago and I got this invaluable advice from DustyC:

"Cross reference here:  http://www.cmsnl.com

You have to register.  Search the fiche for your bike to find the part numbers you're looking for.  Search by part number will give you your cross reference of other bikes that part was used on."

So you have to know what is the part number of the fork, enter it and if it's the same on any other bike it'll say which bike.
