This looks like it will be good times for all! Sunday August 17, 2008 from 10am-6pm (gates @ 9am)at Old Dominion Speedway in Manassas Va "the FIRST dragstrip in the East!" will feature "50 years of stars and cars" ...
10am-noon:nosatlgia cars and bikes on display
12-12:30: time runs and exhibition passes
1:00: grid time for car show
3:45: show winners parade down dragstrip
>6pm eliminations and exhibition passes

This is mostly a car oriented show, but me and a few friends will be bringing out the old school 2 wheelers, maybe you too! I would love to meet some of the VA area SOHC guys, and I will be out there with my cafe 78 CB750K, possibly running through the traps if she seems to be up to it that day.

take my cell # with you and holler @ me when you get to the track, I would love to meet any SOHC brethren whether they have their bikes or not. It should be a good time, I have a few hot rod friends that will be running their old rods and causing a general racket. Seems the track is 1/8 mile.... what do ya think my CB will do with a chicken #$%* like me @ the helm? 30 seconds maybe? Lets hope not

Shame I didn't run into any of you out there, it was a good time....

Big thanks to my hot roddin' buddy Jimmy Crabtree for the FREE cafe fairing and a big F U to the dozen Harley guys that passed me broken down on the side of the road that day, seems like I have some 'lektrikal gremlinz.....
