« on: August 07, 2008, 12:04:38 PM »
Hey there,

Maybe your interested in my new projekt, will show the progress of it here. Some of the first pic's:

This is my 'mock-up'engine. This baby get's a K7 engine with 850 kit. Am trying to make her lighter then original in a lot of area's. Also get some of my own, and others, feature's. Use of Honda related parts if possible.
Let me know what you think.

Hey Mick,

Thanks mate, Is not a K0 type but a ordinary K2-K6,K7,F1&F2 that I changed on the lathe. Looks nicer than the original one, I think.

Cheers, Rob

just thought I would mention, if someone likes the look and copies it, the finned oil filter acts as an oil cooler, you have an oil cooler so not a problem.

More info on that oil tank. Homemade?

I'll probably be building one this winter from aluminum that fills the entire center triangle on the bike. It will have a recess in the center for the battery and the electronics will be relocated under a cafe seat.

Hey Steve,

Yes ,it was my first attempt on oiltank fabrication. It's made from Stainless 304 and uses the original feedline and have positioned the return upfront.

The last one also has a recess to take the battery.

Found the swingarm I was looking for! Comes from Suzuki 1100(sorry for that!). Much lighter an stronger then the original and just need a small adjustment to fit.

Wow! Props on that bike. That's sweet. Do you have a build thread for this one?

Looks like I have a new wallpaper.

Hey Steve,

Look at 'Preparing for Trackday' somewhere around page 60. Not the whole story, but you'll get an idea.
