LED lights from Harrison specialties - anyone have?
« on: August 11, 2008, 10:29:27 AM »
i bought some off Ebay. just wondering if there are othe "componants" needed to make them work?  Web sight sells relays but makes no mention of thier need for the blinkers to work.

any experience with them?

Get a two terminal electronic flasher realy from your local auto parts store.  I paid $12 for mine at Advance Auto Parts.  The led's don't draw enough current to operate a conventional relay.
Is this http://www.harrisonspecialties.com/mm5/merchant.mvc the place?

yep, thats the place. nice quality lights.

Maybe its common knowledge that just wasn't common to me, but i wish they stated somewhere that relays are needed to make these work. and i wish the wiring diagrams were loaded on thier site.

You just wire them in like a normal light, then replace the old mechanical blinker unit with an electronic one like hopterfixer said
