Now entering the ring from Atlanta, Georgia...

Hello all.   I'm new to bikes and I just got my '75 550 up and running.   I couldn't have done it without SOHC4!   This site is the best resource I've found by far.    I'll be posting some pics as soon as I can.   I'll also be posting some questions to try get my baby running real smooth.         -Tim

Welcome from Bluffton SC. What color is your 550? Theres alot of answers here how to get it running perfect.

Hi, Tim,

Welcome! I have a '75 550, too and am really enjoying it. Just picked it up about three weeks ago. It's in pretty good shape so I'm just going through the obvious things a low milage (just 6,500) vintage bike might need.

Post some pics when you get a chance!

Thanks for the welcome, guys.   The tank and sidecovers are now black.   They were an awful house paint blue (applied w/ a roller!) with a terrible glitter red underneath.   I'll be uploading some pics and asking a few questions this coming week.   Ya'll got some nice looking rides there.   One day mine will be all shiny too.   One day...
