Success - CB400F - she's purrin' like a kitten

Well - it was a working weekend - Saturday Afternoon and Sunday morning:

- Replaced my started button with the new (expensive!) one.
- Installed my Dyna 1S (stock coils)
- Rebuilt all 4 carbs using the kits from carbs
   -
Issue - the kits came with stock jets (75 fast, 40 slow).  The carb had 68 fast, 36 slow.
- Re-sync'd the carbs.

Monday was not so good - it idled wonderfully for the first time in a long time, but distinct hesitation on accell and,  ??? decel.

Tonight - I put the leaner jets back in - and the hesitation is gone!  Idle is not quite so good now- just a little bit rough - so maybe I need to go back to the 40's for slow.... but I'm going to try this for a bit.

Makes sense, here at 5-7K feet in Colorado - stock is going to be rich.

Now - the charging system (battery died on the way into work today)... did the Dyna 1S push it over the limit? (stock coils remember).

But still - such a pleasure to ride it (remember - this is my daily driver) without
1) wondering if it will die at the stop light
2) worrying about the hesitation when I pull out
3) feeling embarrassed about racing the engine at stoplights (see 1)
4) hurriedly finding neutral, folding up the right peg - and kicking it when it dies at the red light (see 1).

Happy camper tonight - coming up the canyon was a pleasure!
