buzzing noise just off idle on right side of exhaust.
« on: August 13, 2008, 03:51:02 PM »
Anyone ever have the inner tube of a double walled exhaust come loose? My headers are recycled OEM Honda with slipon's. Just started last night. Gets better if a push on the header pipes on the right with my foot. The noise is up front and to the right of the cam chain.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this or if I am having a valve train issue and the noise is resonating through the pipes.

I think you have something loose on the right hand exhaust

if all thats happened is the inner pipe coming loose i'd drill a bunch of small holes down the pipe and do plug welds, should stabilize it enough to stop the buzzing
