Ignition Key Plug
« on: August 13, 2008, 01:58:24 AM »
Hi there, Does anybody know where I can get hold of the round 7-hole plug that is wired to old honda ignition keys? I've just bought a new aftermarket wiring harness for my CB750 K2 which comes with a round socket. I only find out now that a previous owner has removed the original plug from the ignition key! Cheers, Rich

From a used switch or a new replacement on febay?
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

look here http://crc2onlinecatalog.com/Index_Main_Frame.htm

click electronics, and see if they will work. I bought a new ignition switch for my 550 and it works perfect. Plus you get two new keys.

thanks for the link, US$17 is pretty good for a new switch, shame that it will cost about as much to ship to NZ!
