I heard down south they just dump a bottle of Jack on their crotch followed by a handfull of sand- crabs get drunk & have a rock fight killing themselves!

Dang I don't miss heaving crab pots around, but pulling up  a pot full with a couple missing a pincher or more than three legs, and it gets culled out.

Just because  it is unsellable  doesn't mean it is inetible.  Dungees are the best, especially when there's a 5 gal. bucket full.
