Quick valve adjustment question
« on: August 13, 2008, 06:14:18 PM »
70 750 K0; I've done this to my K3, and understand everything in principle, but how hard should it be to move the feeler gauge, alot of tension, just a bit, can you even describe it accurately here? Thanks, and sorry for my ignorance of a basic adjustment, I just don't want to have to do it again right away.

just a slight drag. some people use(if there is room) the go no go, smaller gauge will slide in larger gauge wont

I think the go/no go system is a good way to get the feel for it. After you've done a couple valves this way, you'll get used to the amount of drag that you need.
