It's been 27 years
« on: September 09, 2005, 06:30:44 AM »
Since I bought my K6. Purchased my 76 in Sept of 78. Paid $1000 for it with 1200 miles on it. Have owned it every since, never left my side. Original everything but tires, grips, replaced seat and pipes, but still original.

Lovely ole gal, wish I would have aged as well as it has.

Ok....I can't let that stand... ;D   I bought my K0 in August 1970
second hand from a guy whose wife deciided he didn't need a bike. ::)
So 35 years....wow!  ;D

I still have the cancelled check.....1200 bucks, so you may have gotten
a bargain.  In my case two new sets of pipes, and two sets of tires, and
for a while I seemed to go through batteries at least once a year.

Still a great bike.
