Need One Spoke!
« on: August 18, 2008, 01:06:07 PM »
I don't suppose I could buy just one for the back wheel huh? Probably have to get the whole set?

Took the tire off and that one spoke that was loose fell off. Part of it was broken off in the nipple. Was riding on a patched tube as well.

hrm...Not sure if it would work. I was looking on the fiche parts diagrams and it looks like a CB550 is 8x144 and 8x144.5
I think it shows the CB400s at 9x158 and 9x158.5.

I'd check the others...but I've gotta go to work. Will check back later...

Thanks!

I've got some used 500 rear spokes. Send a PM with your address.

As I think a little more....the rear hub for the latter 550s were different from the earlier 500/550's I can't say for sure if the spokes are the same length. You can check p/n's if you wish to verify first, otherwise I can just send you a couple to see if they'll work.

I did the parts checker on motogrid and it looks like the part for the 500 spokes is the same for all years. The cross reference fits with 550, 550K and the 550K1, but doesn't list the 550F....but I'm not so sure it makes a difference. Let me check a little bit more. Probably PM tomorrow...gotta go to bed.

They're asking "Buy It Now" price $75 OBO ~ 100$ with shipping. I'd feel bad asking for a lower price.

Bought a few single ones from Honda. A bit pricey but still in stock, for the 750 anyway
