Anyone tried Killer Chrome?
« on: August 18, 2008, 08:38:11 PM »
Has anyone used this product?

If so, how were your results?  Any pictures?  I am looking for something different.

Thanks

No experience with the product... but it looks to me like it's designed to be used on collectables, etc, more so than a bike exposed to the weather/elements of mother nature herself.

my .02cents.

EDIT:: Please let us know how it turns out if you do decide to give it a shot, tho!  I'd be really curious to hear/see the results!  What were you thinking of using it on?

According to some of their information, using their clear coat provides a 'durable automotive' level finish.  I was thinking of trying it on my tank respray.  Not yet sure how I would work it into the overall design.

Looks pretty interesting. I wonder how it would work in high temp areas such as mufflers or engine casings...

I've seen similar product (most likely the best in the industry) at SEMA for a couple of years now. In fact I saw a whole bike painted Chrome. I spoke with the people behind the booth and found out that it will not stand any kind of heat.
