CB750 Cafe Project Cpt.A
« on: July 05, 2009, 03:03:10 PM »
Alright gents. I feel now is as good a time as any. I picked my 1978 CB750 off Craigslist for $500.00. It ran fine has 23,000 on her. She idled rough but once she got going she was purring along. Now i have not decided on exactly what is going on, mostly for the fact that later on i would be like ohhhh,ya that would have been fantastic. So any ideas from your creative minds would be taken into consideration.

I got her stripped the engine is waiting to come out, i have not decided on what it is i am going to do to it but paydays coming up and feel the urge to spend. ;D

(how about those phone pics)

Have you checked out the inspiration gallery?  That will give you enough ideas to severly damage your wallet.

Looks like a good bike to start with.

If its running why are you pulling the engine out?? And only 23,000 miles....it has another 20k to go before any engine work is required...if at all.....Id leave it as is and ride it...modify as you go...its summer afterall!!  ::)

cheers
Andy

I think I have that same seat in storage.... and the 3ft sissy bar that matches it  :P. I agree, ride it till you HAVE to pull the engine. Winter'll be here soon enough  ::)

Ya i hear ya. But i have another bike that is keeping me occupied now, so it is either this or i will never stop playing Call Of Duty 4 and well quite frankly when i play golf nobody's happy.

That seat is amazingly comfortable.
