Rickman Matisse for sale - only 1 mile on the odo
« on: August 16, 2008, 07:17:59 PM »
Since there is a lot of interest in Cafe Bikes on this forum I thought this item might be of interest to a few.  It's really a sweet looking ride.

Fuzzy, maybe he could get you a discount?  Really, the dealer is only about 20 miles up the road from here.  I was thinking of taking the digital camera up this week and see if they will let me get a good hi-res of the Triumph.  That is one cool ride.

Nice bike for sure, BUT...... Short rod 750 motors, which this does appear to be, were not introduced until 1973. And I doubt the speedo with one mile showing is an original. It looks to be a brand new replacement. The needle is dark orange and the speedo has been tested to 1 mile like all new replacement units. The tach needle is faded as would be expected of a bike this age.
Oh, and it is a Rickman Metisse, not Matisse.
