My bike's just sitting there...
« on: August 19, 2008, 10:21:00 AM »
I recently broke my wrist and cannot clutch for another month or so...so I sent my Tank and chain-guard out to get painted.

Engine wise...should I kick-it-over everyday to keep it oiled or should I just leave 'er be?

My friend is doing the painting for free and so he's talking his time about time...Just want to make sure that once the tank goes back on I have no problems...prior to takign off the tank, my 78 750K was my daily driver and was running sweet!

Man I miss riding and yes, I'll post pics once its all back together

Use a small can to hold fuel and get it HOT about weekly/fortnightly
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!
