Topic: Wisconsin to the Salt Flats and other places in 2009

Planning a trip in late August and September of 2009 to the BUB speed trials for motorcycles and the AHRMA races in Salt Lake and Albequerque NM.  Also plan to ride Route 66 west to California and then through Death Valley and tour the southern Sierras.  Will return through the 4-Corners and across Colorado on Hwy 50.  No dates are set because BUB has not announced due to the late Labor Day schedule.

I will be riding my K3 and 3 or 4 others will be on 750s.  Its the 40th anniversary of the CB750 introduction and 50 years of HONDA in the US.  I was on a few of these roads when I rode my K0 from Wisconsin to LA in November of 1969 and returned in June of 1970.  A chase van and trailer are planned to carry the baggage.  This will be a camping and occasional hotel trip.  Let me know if you are interested to join the ride for all or part of the trip.  Dennis in Wisconsin

The Madd Maxx group is also planning to go to Bonneville in 2009.  We start in Kimberley BC and will head south.  Keep in touch as to times. can advise on some roads around BC, Idaho and montana.
