No exhaust gasket is brass, you may have copper covered asbestos material instead of wound like the ebay pic. either will work the same and both have been supplied OEM at different times
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

i bought these a while ago and am planning to install this weekend...just was wondering if the other style was better.

I have used ones like in the ebay pic. They seem to work good. They squash down to gain their seal.
