I've googled the crap out of this.

What size is the headlight on a 72 CL/CB 350?  I don't know where to measure from/to and i get anywhere from 5 to 5 3/4"

???

I want to throw an H4 into it so i can actually see something.  Yes I am aware of the weak charging system etc etc.  Just looking for bulb size? Thanks!!!

good luck on the H4 search. The OEM bulb is 35W, but I haven't seen an H4 under 50W yet. If you change all other bulbs to LEDs you may make up the difference.

I've replaced everything with LEDs.

I'm hoping to find something.

I found a post somewhere saying it was a 154mm light ?? sound about right?

I think it's  the 5 - 3/4" version. Most Hondas used that size until about 1971-1972, when they went to the 7" lamp.

Your headlight rim should measure about 7" or so overall, right??
