Bud…..What did you sell those for? Nice work!

Thanks.  $100 with free shipping in the US.  After paying my machinist friend, and all the Ebay and PayPal fees I only made about $32/each.  I remember shipping a lot of them to Canada.  I thought I was going to sell 1,000,000 of them.  I still get emails every now and then from people asking for them.

If you run them again, add me to the list!

There are a couple companies re-popping them now, I've never needed one but have one of Bud's sitting on the shelf [thanks again, Bud]

Today we are finishing up the RV shore power receptacle. All that is left is the solar powered 4x4 post cap light. 8)
I scavenged the cable for it a while back. We had to cross the driveway down to the shop so even though the cable is direct bury we put it in schedule 80 electrical conduit to protect it.
Next summer when it's really hot we can go in the motorhome and turn on both AC's. 8)

My kitty joined me today for some work.
Cloudy is a good baby. She was a stray in the neighborhood that my youngest kept bringing in. So eventually she just stayed. I'm pretty happy with her. She sleeps with me most mornings I come home from work and crash. She chose me as her person. She's always following me or laying on me.

Over the last couple of days we made 4 wood crates to haul the clocks we made to shows and bike dealer functions to sell. Each crate will hold 6 clocks on edge. Besides the handles I added inset feet so the crates will stack neatly for storage.

This spring and summer Paul and Bunky will be going to the shows where Bunky is doing tattoos to do the selling. So far we've made about 40 clocks and still have around 30 to sell. It's been a fun distraction from the bikes for a bit. We're still getting some bike work done, the 78' Kawasaki KL 250 is almost ready to start. 8)

Last year a buddy of mine and I bought a 2 acre property about 15 mins from my house.....had a 120 year old house on it and a basic 1200sq ft pole barn.  We sunk a bunch of money in and have the house rented...and kept the outbuilding and 1.5acres of property behind for us.   I could start my own thread on the build....but its now full insulated, HVAC, polyaspartic/chip floor, full bath with shower and more.

Been amazing working on my old cars and bikes in temp controlled environment.  way in the hole $$ because of it  ::) but worth it in long run.

Thanks....its basically turned into an awesome tool sharing thing.  Between my friend and I we have a lot of tools.  And we have other friends donating tools to the shop with the understanding they can access the space where it makes sense.

I will say...I'm a messy person...and left to my own devices my workshop would always be in shambles.  But having to share the space makes me put tools away EVERY day and consider any mess I'm leaving for my buddy to walk in and be impacted by.

Its been a great learning experience in organization

Nice job Joe! 8)

My shop is 1400sqft and about 150' behind the house. I share my shop with my 3 best friends because it's a big space and being a gearhead is always way more fun with your friends. Two I've known since high school and the third one is my brother from another mother. 8) They all have their own keys and contribute tools and help with big shop improvement projects.  8)

It's been 13 years now since I bought this place and we've been having a bunch of fun and built a bunch of stuff. As long as I can keep going the fun will continue and then the boy can take over keeping an eye on my friends plus start bringing in his own friends.

It is the Rust Brothers Garage. 8)

Yes, it's not mine.  It's a '53 if I'm not mistaken.  Needs a good going through.   He's also got a 41 Chevy sedan. Both have the 216 I think.

We've got a collection between us....I have the '73 Firebird Formula and the 76 Cherokee chief and he's got the one ones above and a sweet 71 long bed C10.

A little thing but it makes life a bit easier, probably have to get another one and expand the M8 and 10's
I've got 2 small akro mills cabinets that keep my stuff semi organized. Not enough drawers nor are they big enough to hold too much. It def helps even though I still have about 10 labeled zip lock bags for stuff that doesn't fit.
