Woohoo! Thanks mate, I'm looking forward to seeing it! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Ha ha ha.  I guess I've got to wake up pretty early in the morning to get one past you Stan.  :P ;D ;D ;D

I'll take a pic of where my bike lives during the winter, and then a pic of where it lives for the rest of the year tomorrow when I go get it.

I don't see how I can give anyone a hard time on this subject.  I only have an unprotected corner of the driveway for my baby.

But I just couldn't resist.

Well I have found out that deconstruction can be almost as much fun as construction...

Previous owner of my house (yeah the house that has had some stroies shared about it in the past on here....that's right, the house that keeps on giving!) divided the double garage and insultaed one side so he could keep his snakes in there. I have no interest in keeping snakes and don't need an extra sitting room so am in the process of tearing the wall down and then ripping up the half assed floor. For some reason my wife wants to be able to park inside...I just need more working space! Oh and I desperately need new garage doors so if any of the GTA guys can recommend a place that they have dealt with let me know...thanks!

Dennis

P.S. I will try to get a few pics of the progress.

Well Derek, it sure doesn't compare to your place and the closest I get to a plasma home theatre is the 13inch TV on the shelf but here it is...taken on my Black Berry so the quality sucks! The new garage doors should be in soon and once those are done I will get better pictures.

ARRRRGH! You guys are killing me >:(     ;)

I just moved into a condo after having a nice single family home and a decent sized garage. It has a garage, but we are using it as as storage since the place we are renting was furnished. Now I have just enough space for my bike with about 1 foot on all sides. And NO room to even unpack all my tools or have a workbench. I need to get something with a nice workspace before I go insane!

Cheers

Oh the inside office area is pretty dirty right now....I've actually cleaned up the shop area....bought another toolbox....so theres a standard and a metric box now...

The CBX is still literally scattered all over one corner...

Theres a stack of engines in that corner as well....kinda leaking left over oil all over the floor  ::)

I'm just tired of the dirt....So I'm moving an airplane...Removing everything from the office...and putting down Tile....Damn carpet in here looks like absolute hell from all the bike builds, Painting, sanding and whatnot....Gonna get some new couch's too

Gosh, I gotta say, I feel REALLY bad for you, having to move your STACK OF ENGINES and oh yeah, your AIRPLANE so that you can put new carpet and couches in your garage.  I mean, I'm lucky to fit a barstool into my garage but wow you have it rough!

<Note extensive use of sarcasm above  ;) ;) ;D >

Edit: and oh yeah if wide-ass six cylinder is taking up too much room in your space, well I know of a place you could properly dispose of it  ;)  being as how it's such a burden and all.  ;D

OK I'm a nube. I didn't take these picture specificly to show were I mess with mechanical stuff and lord knows I didn't clean up before I took them either. The first two are my garage (duhhhh) and the last one is in "my side" of the basement. I'm limited with space and have have way to much cr#p in my house but it works for me.

That was my 1st restoration project, it took 3 years and too many $. It's a 1970, split rear bumper, with all original chrome. I also have a 68 and a 69, they were the "donor" vehicles for a lot of the parts. Thanks for the wow, it's a fun car to drive.

While I didn't know the specifics, I did see that Lil' MG and will give it a "Whoa!", since Malcolm gave it a "Wow!" ;D ;)

Thanks for allowing us to visit, so to speak. :) Maybe I can get MY place to where I can get in and out of it, then I'll see if I can take some shots of it. Then, you all will probably be wishing that you hadn't seen it (except it'd make a lot of folks appreciate theirs more. :D Kidding, cause I've seen some that had no real space to work.

I served my apprenticeship at a BMC dealership and worked on many of them, I had a British Racing Green GT for a short while, my initials are MGB so I had to own one. Sadly US legislation ruined it around 1974 with the rubber bumpers, later raising the suspension so that headlights met minimum height regs and then emission laws sapped valuable BHP. Enjoy  :)

Hope I'm not hijacking this thread... I just wanted to respond to malcolmbg. I agree tha US legislation did help to kill the LBC's (little British cars). I love them. I got my 1st MG, a 1969 Primrose roadster for $300 a very, very long time ago, I still have it and would like to make a vintage racer out of it but $ is holding me back. Maybe I'll start another thread some were (not sure if it belongs on an SOHC site or not) on the resto I did on the 70 B. It was a 100% mine and my wifes labor. Thanks for your comments
