Well, I don’t know how to embed it yet

Well done Adam! Just click on the pic you want to display in your post, click the "BBCode" icon, click on the link to highlight it, right click on "Copy", then just "Paste" it into your post. Cheers, Terry.

I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Thanks, Terry! I’ll have to mess with it on my computer. I was trying from my phone. It’s funny you put a photo of your vfr. I’m looking at a 1986 VFR400 on Monday.

No worries Adam, buy the baby VFR, if it's as much fun as my 750 you won't be able to wipe the smile off your face! ;D

Far from being "ready" but the first bit of work happened in my shed addition last night. Really cant wait for taxes to come on to better "level" a spot for a bike lift.

Got a upgrade today. Now going to take a old screw jack weld some angle top and bottom and make the litle jacks people use on lifts.

Here’s mine. Bought the house a year ago and fixed up the old single car garage it came with. The building was falling over like an old barn. It took many weeks and much work to get it straight and strong again. The floor was cracked heavily in a few pieces, so I put a floating wood floor it, which I got for free from a local church gym that had some water damage. It’s insulated (floor is too) and I can heat it to 23C when it’s -30C outside.

No SOHC4 bike in my stable at the moment but I have an 82 xl125s I’m working on, as well as a 77 xt500 crank-up rebuild. And yes that’s a stove in the corner. It’s one of my
It’s used tools lately. Great for heating up cases to replace bearings, cure paint, replace valve guides etc!

Got 2 used crafsmen boxes over the last 2 days. 20 bucks for one with the open bottom. Its pretty close to being identical to those cheap stanley ones you see on sale at walmart for a 100 bucks. 20 bones from a buddy cleaning out his shed.
Got another Craftsmen box in good condition for a 100 just needs wiped down. Will post picks soon.

Is this the complaint department ?
If so, I have a problem with all these nice, clean and tidy garages/shops.
How do you find tools and such if they're not spread everywhere, from arsehole to breakfast time ?
Remember, a clean bench is for storing things on. You can thank me later. I'm off to try and tidy up.

Haha fair enough. Mine isn’t always this way. Far from it. But once a job is done, I do have a habit of cleaning it up nicely for the next task

I'm envious of folks who are organised with a place for everything and everything inits place.  This is my main work  bench space. Every few months I tidy it up.  I'm useless.

Wood is great but has its detractors.  Spilled oil and fluids, snow, parking wet bikes. It’s all manageable with rubber mats and maintaining the floor. I love it because I’ve got 3/4” rigid foam with reflective membrane under it. With a 1” gap to the pad. My floor is really warm on any day of winter
