The lights make a difference!

They sure do. I had to sweep up stuff I hadn’t ever seen before!

I'm going to have to stop cleaning my glasses so I can't see the flaws in stuff that I couldn't see before ;D

the leyland P76, the last blast of the english car industry in australia, i'd love one. got offered one in exchange for my dads car ( suzuki swift ) after he died and mum gave me his car.

the words of the dealer that had the P76 were " if you bring that car back tomorrow with a lot less kilometres on it the P76 is yours " the P76 was bubblegum pink with a white vinyl interior, all in pristine condition, still regret not getting it.

i ended up swapping the suzuki for an XC falcon with the slowest motor you could get in that model, the asthmatic 200ci, but that car got me round for years and much slightly illegal business was carried out in it. i put a 'Welcome to Nhill' sticker ( very rural country town not known for anything at all ) and a stick-on Christian fish ( chrome of course ) and not one copper looked at that car the entire time i owned it, they obviously think god botherers form the western districts couldn't possibly be up to no good
i blame Terry

Would not have known what they are but looks good with fresh paint.  Why is it that it seems all OZ cars have four doors?!

I understand that it can be a convenience, but all U.S muscle cars had two doors:  Mustang, Camaro, Cuda, Chevelle, GTO, Firebird, Road Runner, Gran Torino, etc.....

Isn't there a two door Holden that Pontiac used the body to make the last GTO with an LS motor.

My brother said he needed a 65 LeMans 2 door so his kids couldn't fall out the back while he was driving. That became my excuse for owning 2 door cars too. Now I have a 4 door truck.

it was called the monaro, there were also monaros right through the 70's which , with the ford xa xb xc 2 doors ( the mad max car ) were the core of australian muscle cars, along with the Valiant Charger

it is a ht,the first was hk,had a strip speedo and very thin skinny tail lights and tacho on the console,ht and hg were essentially the same except for different grilles, the wider taller tail lights and two dial speedo/tacho dash, the hk v8 option was small block 307 and 327,ht/g you could get the new hoilden 253/308 plus tick the box for 350 small block on gts only,i had a hk when i was younger, all those old monaroes are worth a kings ransom now!

I had a 1969 Pontiac GTO which looked the same as the yellow car in the above picture, although mine was not a convertible.

All the doors and windows came from a house being torn down in Toronto. We got them the night before the house got crushed! The batt & board exterior is leftovers from when I built the garage. There’s a “potting bench”  built down one side. Would make a fantastic bike workshop!
