I sold my old Logan, made some space in the shop.

It got bought by company that tests roads and runways; I never knew it's a thing.  The guy who came to pick it up was from France, moved to USA in 1964 after he finished military service in Algeria, now he makes living as machinist and must be pushing 80 if he is a year.

But the shop space will not be empty long, we got a new frame for my CJ7 and my son will be building it frame up over the winter.
Is your shop there in open air where you had your Logan?

No, the open air shop is for blacksmithing.  I moved the Logan there to make space for G4003 from Grizzly.

Here's a picture of my shack, I mean shop. Some fun facts: There is a ratchet strap keeping the whole structure from leaning, the 55" T.V. serves a second role as a structural member from the top of the air compressor to the rafters, and there's a tree behind the rear wall actively trying to grow roots through the slab creating a giant split right down the middle that loves to swallow tools and hardware. Still, I'm grateful to have a place to work and keep my bikes out of the weather.

A great way to describe it haha. It's about big enough to fit an original VW beetle in, not much else. Perfect for 6-10 bikes!

The hinges have a very "rustic" appeal lol. If I'm not careful with the parking though, they will absolutely smash a bike on the way down. I have avoided that so far thankfully.

My bat cave doesn't have a TV, but that's OK with me. I have enough projects to keep me busy.

Honestly, the T.V. mostly ends up playing music(See also the Yamaha receiver, speakers hidden higher in the ceiling). I would forgo it altogether if it wasn't a free hand me down from my brother in law.

That is the barn foundation. Definitely 😎 and helps keep the shop cooler and moister. I run a dehumidifier to keep the moisture lower. And A/C in the summer to help curb the moisture.
Trouble comes when it's a wet year......then, I have to deal with water running through from the missing rain gutters that have fallen off the roof, there's lots of ledge under the ground surface that the runoff flows into the basement of the barn where my shop is. But it usually dries up after a couple days.

This picture was from 2018, when I wasn't using the full bay as my shop. While I was away for the winter the space where my wing is was used for a car storage space. I had just built the raised floor storeroom to keep my K5 in over the winter.

deutz D 15- 1959..1 cyll 800cc diesel 712 serie aircooled motor..this type small tractors vas made up to abaut 1965..mostly used for grass cutting..and other leight jobs most have the same ZF gear-rear end..so a typical german modul build..share the same parts from bosch and ZF.. and most have deutz engines..others have manheim( MVM) engines..or porche/allegier vho made their ovn engines

i also have a volvo tractor vith perkins 3 engine

What's the starting arrangement for the Deutz? Cartridge, hot bulb or brute force?

In Ireland, back in the day, there was one railway loco built by MAK in Kiel. Starting from cold involved lighting a little fire while cranking the beast.

Common practice for this truck in freezing conditions was to "let it read newspaper" - burn it under the engine.

It also had ether cartridge starting assist, but newspaper was easier to find in the military.

The past couple of months I have been upgrading my tool boxes. All but the last are 22" deep US General. I made plywood countertops to give me 18' of counter now. I had to reorganize the shop anyhow from getting a bunch of parts and a few more project bikes this summer. So now it's time to get back to working on them....it's winter here, so the pellet stove is keeping it warm and lots of bright light so it isn't too gloomy in the shop.

1st picture is from before in early December, 6' of countertop, was pretty cluttered.
2nd & 3rd is the vise bench now, (yes it's cluttered too, but the carpentry tools will be cleared off and back in the van) built last week.
4th is yesterday's top over the 56" and 42"(husky 18" deep held out flush to the front) boxes. I have a space at the end to store my spare forks upright, awaiting rebuilds.

Stu….. Shop looks very comfortable! I only run my underfloor heating from midnight to early morning. The electric hot water tank uses too much electricity to run during on peak billing hours. I’ve often thought a small wood/ pellet stove would be just the ticket when I spend a full winter day in there. Mmmmm.
