CB750K Front Fenders/How to determine the right one?
« on: August 24, 2008, 08:04:26 AM »
I have a 1972 CB750 K2 and in need of a fender. I've noticed some advertised (ebay) as being for a 72-75, they have the wire circular brake line stay that is part of the fender.
My old fender (what's left of it) does not have the stay made on the fender, I believe it was a seperate bracket.

Which one is the right one?

Thanks ;D

The 72 fender didnt have the rubber spacers where it connects to the front fork. And I think also the attachment point at the front brake area is also different though I dont recall that exactly.

good luck!

Well, I hope the 1973 fork tubes will work in my 72 legs, I have 73 tubes on the way.
     Thanks for the replies guys.

There are some major difference in the fork and fender assemblies between 72 and 73. Pipes and innards, lower assembly, ears and seals, brake and fenders are not interchangeable.

The fender with the separate bracket for the brake hose is K0 and K1 I believe.
