Float bowl gaskets. Alternitives?

Would there be any adverse effects to using rtv/gasket-in-a-tube to replace the factory gaskets?

Yeah....often the RTV gets in the bowl. Then it clogs the jets.

Don't use the in the tube stuff. bike bandit or old bike barn sell the float bowl gaskets by the piece.
