well doctor said, Wow! you are healing up very fast. should be up and running in 30-60 days. not sure what that means but my employer is happy i'll be able to shovel snow, use snowblowers , use hammer-ing nail abilities without fear of hammering fingers, etc etc.

pain has gone down a lot in thw past week, and i am off most medications, as i do not like to consume any drugs except caffine ;D

ordered a new clutch cable from he dealer,as i did not like the last cable i got from an internet company.

cb550 will definetely get a top-end tear down this winter to go along w/ the S2/gs550e/cb750's/H1 projects. i like to keep busy. ::)
peace,
michel

Actually I was going to make some smart arse pun about you giving up riding altogether and sending me your bike but then I had a brainwave. :o
How about fitting a trail bike clutch lever, the kind that are set back more towards the handle bar grip?
The ones I have seen have like molded cut aways where your fingers grab them, that would surely make the clutch grabbing easier. ;D
I've broken all my toes and most of my fingers doing Martial Arts over the years, my big worry is as I age I'll probably get massive arthritis!!!! :P
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!
