I just got a 77 cb750 and am looking into what would be required to pull off somethinglike this. Here is a link to what I have in mind. It was done by a company in Japan called Super Build Maximum.

Their website lists them at 300,000 yen. My currency converter puts that at around $2800 USD.  :o  Kerker looks a little better compared to that, I think.  ::)

See "Squirley's CB550 build" or whatever it's called, exactly, in the projects section.  He gives great detail of using a GSXR1000 USD fork with a spoke wheel, and is into a badass build.
