Another newbie

Hi all, another newbie here i am Chris in the uk an own a 1978 cb550k, will upload some pics shortly but cant seem to do the google map thing!

Welcome from California.  If you haven't done so yet, you need to create a Google account so that you can edit the map.
Now  1972 CB350FX (experimental v2.0)
        1981 CB650c Custom with '79 engine (wifes)
        1981 CB650 engine
        2004 HD XL883C Custom
        1977 Yamaha XS750D (in progress)
Then 1972 CL175
        1964 Yamaha YGS-1T

Ty, i have had a go at the map but just gave up, here is a pic of my cb untill i sort out a gallery,

Clip-ons on a K3? How do they ride?

Like the Deeptone exhaust though! What's that seat?

Take a look at www.honda-sohc.co.uk , some of us Brits hang out there too. Same s/w so similar look and feel.

Thank you burmashave i couldnt figure that out!!
i dont know how it rides with the clip-ons i was just trying them and didnt take it out as they were hitting the tank,  the seat has got Rebel on the tag if that means anything,

I have taken them off for now, i got the bike with intentions of building a cafe racer but finding a suitable tank here in the uk seems to be a bit difficult.

Scan eBay but you may have to buy an old Rickman tank and modify it. The problem with the CBs is the ignition coils mounted on the frame spar. The tank needs to be well shaped underneath to clear them. None of those narrow race replicas will.
