Looks like it might add a few miles to your overall petrol consumption but it may be helpfull should the wind be behind you.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

One word comes to mind Zooy...UGLY...sorry, just my opinion.  You are not thinking of covering up that nice KO with that screen are you?  I can't help it, I am a real OEM look kind of guy.  Hey, if you think it will help you go for it.  But will certainly detract from that nice bike.  Unless that KO is a rat bike, then maybe it will look good...just kidding you man.   ;D

There was a fairing just like that on my 500 when
I dragged it (literally, 3 blocks) home.
Tore it off immediately and tried, but could not
GIVE it away. That kind is attached to the bars and
moves with them. If you want a touring shield, get something
frame mounted.
Bikes parked out front mean good chicken-fried steak inside.

Had one of those on my 72 cb750, along with the windshield, car radio, speakers, antenna, chopper forks, sissy bar, high way pegs, and a Grim Reaper painted on the gas tank. I removed all that stuff. Now it sits pretty.

I've always heard that handlebar mounted fairings would make a bike unstable, that's why every cruiser with a heavy duty windshield has it mounted to the fork tubes.

+1 for the frame mounted fairings.

I was actually thinking that I might put it on my K3 750, but now, knowing that its frame mounted, I'm thinking no. I really like the Avon fairing, but who knows. Something that would be an easy on/off would be great.
