Great sound  ;D

Ok Ecosse I have a challenge for you since you have all these cool motorcycle movies....I remember seeing this short movie somewhere...it was set in London (in the 60`s?) and it involved a guy on a Norton cafe racer, speeding through the streets of London and through long winding white-tiled tunnels and at one point he is racing this hot 60`s chick (wearing a neck scarf) who is driving an open-top sports car....they race each other through the tunnels and streets.....and its all in black in white.....very very cool movie.

Do you or does anyone know where I can see this again!? Its one of my reoccurring dreams.....such a cool movie!

cheers
Andy

How did it end again?

I recall that the Norton guy and the girl ended up at the same house and they went inside...end of story. No?

Ive been wanting to recreate the tunnel scene here in Boston - the Big Dig has some cool tunnels but they are fairly short  :-\

HA! Trick question... if it was in black and white how do you know those tiles were in fact white?

Better luck next time. ::)

Sorry, well I'm drawing a blank but I'll cipher on it a while. But if I fail my next computer science test can I blame it on your query rather than my ineptness?

I love hot '60's chicks, and not chicks in their 60's I mean.

OK, those too.

And thank Christ for that! Remember this is Teddy's project and he has a history of killing his constituency.

All the more reason to blast right through those things. ;D

;D Have you been to London? If so you would know they are way to cheap to go colouring the tiles with anything other than standard toilet white  ;) and secondly...Ive seen the tunnels...believe me they are white...with a dash of sooty road dirt thrown in... ;)

cheers

There ya go flaunting your worldliness in the face of my New England hickness. And if I wasn't the product of the American educational system I'd be smart enough to be insulted sir!

But to be overtly type A for (just?) a moment the soot has technically altered the colour of the tiles.  ;D

 ;D Sorry 'bout that.

I searched my car/bike movie book and the only one from the book I would guess would be The Leather Boys- 1963. I hear it's considered a classic.

I never saw it so I couldn't say for sure if it's the one you're looking for. The book doesn't go into a very thorough description of many movies unless they were big flix like Le Mans and sometimes doesn't mention date of release.

Wish I could be of some help to ya. I'll keep my ears open still.

As for Silver Dream Racer I might just break down and rent it from Net Flix.
