Yeah, the price is a bit much, but the bike is quite a sought after item, in itself.

Here's a photo of the bike it goes on (I do wish the photo was bigger, sorry).

Wouldn't that particular bike (if for sale) bring $4000 or so?? If so... half for the tank?? even brand new tanks don't cost that much. Let alone one off of a 48 Harley.

Sorry Bill I just don't see it. Call me young???  :-[ lol.

Maybe it is your age. ;D Just kidding there. ;) Actually, when they do come up for sale, the price is quite high (even though I don't remember what kind of price that would be, it is Awesome)! :o  They don't get put up for sale very often and have been quite an item since they were first made. I tried to see about getting one when I was stationed in Japan in the Air Force in 67'-69' and they were sky high even back then. ::)  I'm not saying that I could or would give that much, I'm just saying that there's a good chance that that tank will go for big bucks! ;)

754, you talking about a blue CB92 or the tank itself?

754, I'll try to get at your request, soon as I get back home this evening. ;)
