clock options, what are you all using?
« on: September 01, 2008, 06:46:22 PM »
Simple problem, looking for a clock that will compliment my 650 gauges, black face, white numbers. I was looking on ebay for VDO gauge clocks but mounting may be an issue.

I had one of those cheap stick on digital clocks, they suck. Not waterproof. Most bar mounted clocks I found are 1" and $$. Price is a factor here.

Here's a sample of my gauges, though off a '79. The indicator lights are different.  Any suggestions?

I would like to get one of these for a decent price

I thought the whole reason for 2 wheels and a helmet was to get away from clocks and phones......

Except when you are commuting.

A buddy of mine simply buys the cheapest Casio digital watch, and use adhesive velcro to stick it to the upper yoke.

I use my phone to keep track of time.  It's totally accurate as it is sync'd to the atomic clock(all cell phones are).  I like it mounted to the handlebar so I can see the calls I'm missing("yeah like I really need to talk to him!"), and if I need to pull over to answer an important one.
