Topic: 400 head/gasket question

Any chance that a leaky (not a gusher, though) head gasket might cause one jug to run rich (messing with pressure or whatever)?
Do I have to take the whole engine out to take the head off, or can I keep it in the frame?

I was able to change head and jug gasket with the engine on the bike (cb500). look at online manual

Yep, you can do all the top end work on the 400 with the engine in the frame.  Lucky!

Thanks. I'm asking because I think I loaned my manual out. You'd think I'd know better.
Hym- where do I find an on-line manual?

I should think any leaks where oil is being pushed through the head gasket is gonna cause compression problems.  Don't know if that would make it run rich though... If anything I would think it would be lean (it's not drawing the correct vacuum?)
