I got a lot of questions and PMs about where I get my stainless hardware for my bike. I get most of my stuff from Fastenal. They have locations nearly everywhere.
Here is what you do to save some money. Get the exploded view parts diagram for your bike. This is the one that the dealers use for ordering parts. I have one for the 350/400 if you need it (PM me). It will give you exact bolt lengths. Harbor Freight makes a 99 cent plastic bolt/screw measuring plate that is worth it's weight in gold (which should be cheap, it is made of plastic). Figure out what you need and call fastenal. Here is the trick. If you want it the same day, they will tell you that you have to buy an entire bag of whatevers, that they can't split the bag. Now if you call and order say just 6 of them, they call the warehouse and will have them for you the next day. Saves you a ton of money as you don't end up buying the entire bag.
Just take your time, order what you need and they will have it for you.
Oh - one more thing, if you order from them, they will ask you what company you are with. I tell them I am just one guy. They are pretty cool about it, but sometimes they ask and won't sell to you unless you are a company. Just give them your last name as a company name. I got to know the lady at my local fastenal and she gives me "demo" discounts when they can't split the bags for whatever reason.
Just thought I would pass this along as their hardware is amazing, the can order anything you can think of and their prices are second to none.
