all of that was truely awesome. sure would be great if there was some video and audio to go with it. one picture had me kinda baffled



is this a homemade engine? look at that timing belt :o. looks like a flat-four design, like a GL, with a flathead design, like a ford, but the engine is rotated 90 degrees...or is it a 2 stroke  ??? i can't see the other side of the bike but i can only guess he did that is to make it chain instead of shaft drive...?

My non-expert opinion says that's a water pump drive. This may be a snowmobile engine and a two stroke. I've read about motorcycles running sled motors.

Hope one of the wise ones of SOHC Land chimes in..
