Topic: Hand Grip size for 77 CB550

I did a search on the forums and didn't see anything about this.  I need to replace the hand grips on my bike and I am not sure what size I should be getting.  Some sites showed me 7/8" and 130 mm and other 7/8" and 140 mm and another was 1" and 140 mm.  So I am not sure what to go by at this point.  I ordered a Clymers but I don't have it yet.  And I do not have the manual either.

You'all got 7/8 inch diameter bars and the shorter length for the grips. The only bike I have had through here that used the longer 7/8 was an 84 Magna. Harley and some customs or newer metrics use the 1 inch bars. Most parts places will show applications for their grips.

OK thanks.  I will go for the 7/8" and 130 mm.  I appreciate the help with this.
