CB350F Bike acting up
« on: September 06, 2008, 04:22:55 PM »
Yesterday, my bike starting acting up.  The bike cranks and runs fine.  When I was going up a hill is started to slow down and bog.  The bike shut off and I pulled over. Had plenty of gas.  When I tried to take off the bike would shut off or bog in first gear.  Got the bike up a hill and went down and it ran fine, but it was popping out the exhaust.  Do I need to clean out the carbs?  Any suggestions.

How often do you get into the reserve?  The reason I ask is water can build up and if you don't use the reserve very much, you will get enough water to give you the symptoms you describe.  But if you use it  with every tank, the amout of water, if any, will pass through without much fanfare.
Go metric, every inch of the way!

not much at all. the tank was low and it started acting up.  I think i may have been on reserve.  I filled up the tank and ran in normal.
