Topic: 1978 cb550k valve adjustment

So I have baby running after putting in new points condensers and plugs,the info I have is that it hasn't run in 12 years so this is good.
I started to do valve adjustment and wonder how much play you should notice on the rockers,I started with #4 and the intake rocker has a small amount of movement but the exhaust rocker doesn't seem to move at all...what is a normal amount of play?

Check your manual. I have just done this on my 78 CB750K and the intake is .002 and the exhaust is 0.003 (very, very small, hard to check at all accurately without a feeler gauge). You might check around the site here also since I remember seeing key specifications for different models but I don't remember where, if you don't have a manual for your model at hand.
