Who went to Rice-O-Rama?
« on: September 09, 2008, 06:15:19 AM »
What a show! Sohc-4 Honda's took three differentl 1st place trophies including a 1969 CB750, a 1976 400F, and my 1970 CB750 Yoshi cafe (ok, I cheated; I removed the baffle from my pipe and let 'er rip a few times for the judges. If you heard it, you know what i mean). It was great to meet Andy from the UK and also Mike Rieck, and I saw Mike's 1976 cafe and that is a super-sano CB750 w/ every possible mod, WOW!

I went... It was another great year.  It was nice to be at a place that could actually handle all the people.  The bike were awesome and Ill be sure to go again next year.

The bike that I thought was a bit nuts was the supercharged CBX semi-rat.
1975 CB750K Bright Orange with 8300miles

Hey Andy,

Nice to finally meet you! And the cafe bike looks and sounds great in person. If I ever get down to Long Island with the bike you can be sure Ill be paying you a visit  ;)

Dont forget the sidecover  ;) Many thanks for mailing it to me (since I didnt have storage space riding 2-up).

cheers
Andy

Ask your buddy if he wants a fresh quart of candy garnett brown paint, it was just mixed at a hi-tech paint shop, nice color match w/ instructions and formula. I was going to squirt a K1 tank but change of plans occurred. $90

Hey Phil,

Why not PM Andy your address and this way he can send it to you rather than me  ;) Just a thought.

If you ever have any candy gold left over Andy then Id be interested in getting a tank/sidecovers done  ;)

cheers
Andy
