Here's a couple of the one I just got back together.

Hey that's sweet Aaron, is that a blower hanging off the side? Very "Old Skool Cool"! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

He he, have fun doing your float levels...............  ;D

It ran that way for thirty years so it can't be THAT bad...Can it? Oh god, what have I done?

Really? With the carbs pointing down at 45 degrees mate? I'm surprised the engine got any gas at all? Have you had any problems with them leaking gas? Anyway, all the best! ;D

There's a business here in NZ in Tauranga that does nothing but buy old honda 4's usually cb650's and turn them into choppers.
I have bought some of the stock stuff off them as they don't want any of that just the motors really.
I'll try to find a link to their site.

http://www.trademe.co.nz/Trade-Me-Motors/Motorbikes/Motorbikes/Cruiser/auction-162392558.htm

They do some pretty radical stuff and you don't get much change out of $10k.

They're nice looking bikes Hushy, the only problem I have with all those frames they use, is that they're modified "off the shelf" after-market Harley custom frames, and have about a foot of empty space behind an SOHC4 engine that was designed to hold the Harley gearbox.

Years ago, there were "off the shelf" custom frames specifically designed for our engines, (Sonic Choppers here in Melbourne built some excellent frames back in the day) and it'd be nice if custom shops weren't lazy and actually built SOHC4 specific frames, they look much better, IMHO. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Cool Looking headers on the CB650 choppers.  I'm not sure I've every seen a 650 with anything custom.

Yeah, it's a Drouin Supercharger and it is fully functional. ;D

It's actually quite scary to ride. The blower doesn't achieve boost until about 3500 rpm and then it comes on like a 2 stroke powerband. I would guess it adds at least 30hp. The rear axle twists in it's springs and the back tire spins causing the back of the bike to lurch to the right violently. If I let off the throttle it calms down but I think I'm going to have to lock that back end solid somehow. It sounds cool as hell and has a distinctive blower whine but it is kick only because the starter is too weak to spin over a fresh 10.5 to 1 836 and I don't feel like taking it all apart to change the starter. It takes a few kicks to get it started when it's cold but it's ok when warm. All in all, I like it but it needs a few tweaks to make it safe to ride.

I've got a friend with a tube bender, I've been thinking of having him build me a frame.  The only other frames I know of are the Cycle x frames.
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.

Someone mention frames? Good people. I visited their shop in Regina, SK a few years back prior to their relocating here in the States.
