Topic: 4 into 2 exhaust

I am currently working on a 1978 cb750. I bought it for 100 dollars. It is a total basket case. I got it in boxs and bags. The bike belonged to an older gentleman that was going to restore it. The engine was removed from the frame because the kicker didn't work. I split the case since it was already removed. I have almost all  my engine parts now to reassemble it. But what i am looking for now is a 4 into 2 exhuast or at some tips or ideas how to make one.

Mac is a good mid level option. I have a set of 4-2 on one of my bikes. 5 years stored out doors, mofflers and pipes atill like new, header area is blued and pocked with rust spots. Still a nice set up.

I am also looking for an exhaust for my CB750 K4.  Is the Mac 4 to 2 a quiet exhaust?  I live in a quiet neighborhood and do not want a loud exhaust.

Mine are fine, don't know about the out turned drag style models/

I believe I have a set of 4 to 2 Macs on my bike. Just got it running again, one of the cans has a spot rusted out at the end of the baffle but this should give you an idea what it sounds like.

New would be quieter I would think.

yeah, my stock 550 pipes were pretty loud - i'm hoping the 4-1 MAC is equally loud.  i like that people can hear me comin' down the road.

also, where are you guys finding these 4-2 turnouts?  those are quite sexy.

I have those turn outs on my 78 550k. I was wondering who made them too, but it looks like this answered my question. They have a very nice sound, loud but not too loud.

I sold min awhile back and went with 4-1. Sound is quieter and more like a sport bike.
