CR750 parts supplier
« on: September 10, 2008, 12:19:08 PM »
I bought a brake joint Tee piece from the following site a while back - http://www.tr4-rally.com/ and had problems with it. There was an almost imperceivable casting fault so I sent it back.

The reason I'm telling you guys is the sheer excellent customer service I've had from the owner - Carsten. Nothing has been too much trouble to sort out my issue with the manufacturing fault in this single piece and he's been great with the communication and the replacement of the part with no quibbles.

I figure such good service deserves a "big thumbs up" on this forum since some of you guys building trick CB or CR750s might not be aware of the site. Carsten has a number of cast magnesium generator covers and other bits he's looking to sell so for what it's worth I thought I'd let y'all know!

One thing I've found building my "million pound motor" is that there are plenty of CB750 parts and service suppliers out there but there are only a handful of decent quick businesses that offer great customer service. Sad I know so worth shouting about a good one!  ;D

I know what you mean Simon, our bigest let down was Len, the guy that did your head. >:( >:( >:(
I had to give up on him in the end and Mike Rieck got us back on track in double quick time. 8) 8) 8)

Wow really?! Come to think of it I eft the head with Len for about 9 months - it looks amazing but then 9 months is a long time to wait in anyone's book. I think next time I need to talk to Mike too.....what am I talking about next time DOH!  ;D
