Check it out!
« on: September 10, 2008, 02:54:58 PM »
I scored a white plush carpet remnant at the dump today, and with the car outta there, my boys are smiling big time. I've posted a photo as it won't look like this for long! Thank goodness there's always carpet at the dump.

Hmm, Is there a good reason why digital cameras take images that are 40 inches by 30 inches. I forgot to reduce the image size before posting. Here's what my garage looks like with the new rug... better than I'd look with one for sure!

Beemers already have a delusional superiority complex, and you have to go do this?!  :D

I really went for the white as the heart of my sohc will be returning to be reunited with its carcass, hopefully this weekend. The BMW wasn't supposed to be in that shot, and usually sits in the back of the garage. But when I returned from getting the camera, there it was... must be that superiority thing!

So, you were trying to hide the Beemer from us, eh?  As you should,

Ben will also be sporting a crisply starched and pressed white lab coat with the name "Gunther" embroided over the pocket (which will contain a calculator for metric to English conversions, mechanical pencils, an old style vernier caliper and a 0 to 1" micrometer).

Thanks Andy,
I hope I can get the old duffer ready for our Fall ride. And after I get Mike ready, I'll work on my bike! :o ;D
BTW, when is our Fall ride? Are we going to try for the last weekend in Sept, or one of the first couple in OCt? Should we try to set this up soon?
