I agree were not that populated, about 1 Million for the province, but that's the way we like it  :P

I have seen some old Hondas in the area, but I doubt they know about this site.  It was worth a try.

Good to hear from you James.

I have family in Moncton so I go down quite often.  Sometime next year, if i go for a run down your way I'll let you know.  The St-Martin area is always fun to cruise around.

boy, I'm running late, just read your reply.  Sounds like fun as long as I get the old girl back together, I'm painting the frame, new wheel bearings, new rings, and valve job.  At least I'll have more then just the better half to keep me warm this winter ;D

I'll give you a shout if I down your way also.

Bridgewater??? I bought my 1973 K3 from Calvin Snyder just outside of Bridgewater. Is he still there? Well I guess he'd be long gone, but is his dealership still there? He sold more 750s to us in Halifax than all the local dealers combined. He was almost $300 cheaper than the others.

As I've posted elsewhere, I'm reviving the old membership system.  Since I have the database up and running , but don't have the web interface working, here is the list of registered members from Nova Scotia.  Sorry it doesn't format quite right - its quick and dirty.

BTW, when I lived in Maine back in the late 80's, I got up to Nova Scotia quite a few times.  Only made it to Halifax twice (once in March); never got below there.  Spent most of my time up in Cape Breton - got a lot of funny looks driving across the park in March with the Maine plates on the my old VW Fox.  Sure wasn't tourist season up there at that time of year.

That's great!  It looks like there are quite a few of us around.

I'm dreaming of spring constantly, I can't believe the bike has been stored 6 weeks already.

So far so good as per the weather.

No the place is still there , but he lost/sold the dealership . The shop sells boats , lawnmowers and other small engines ..Randy still works in the store part and SWEARS the business is his when all is said and done ..

As for Calvin he is still kicking . He is about 85 and his wife just died this spring . He stills drive his car daily ..

Hi, I'm in the HRM...a guy on a black '78 CB750K said hello at the Chickenburger one nite last week... there's a red 1970 CB750 at Toad's getting carb work; I met its' owner of that CB at Tim Horton's in Fall River a couple of weeks ago...a guy I went to high school with saw me pull up at my nephew's soccer game and came over to tell me about his SuperSport...another guy offered to buy my pipes in front of Canadian Tire for his CB750 one Saturday recently...so I figure there's gotta be at least a few dozen running CB Fours of various displacements around these parts.

Hey Winston,

Good to hear there are others around.

I see the odd bike but they are pretty scarce.  You haven't seen me lately because I've been having problems with the bike lately.

I think I might have it sorted out, hopefully the weather will cooperate.

I usually hang out at 5 corners Tim Horton's and Arby's on Tuesday evenings.

See ya around

Do you ride it?  I haven't seen you around.  What colour is yours?

Post some pics if you have some.

It is a blue metalic colour with flat black trim my brother painted it for me. I have had it for about 2 years now and am just finishing it now. It will be on the road for next season. The hardest part of the whole thing was the exhaust I ended up using the top of my pipes and welding on the lower half from a set of Kerker four into one pipes for a cb 750 in order to get a usable set of pipes. I'm hoping to find a proper set of 4 into 1's or 4 into 2 for a cb500 for next season.

Hi folks,

I'm out here in Eastern Passage, with a 78 CB550 that I've just totally disassembled, it's my current project...

Already "met" 544cc in another thread and talked to Winston via another web forum, but good to see there are some SOHcs around the province.

Hope to see you all on the road once when (if) I get my bike all back together.. ;D

cheers,
JMR
