do I have a 1980 CB650 or CB650C? How to tell?

I am sure it has been cover but can't find a definate way to tell me if i have cb650 or cb650c. is there mush diffrence?

comstar wheels  and dual disk brakes are on the custom. That's all I know.

it can usualy be identified by the tag theres a frame number there RC05-2100008 = C   RC05-2100002 -= Z

80 custom had single disk.  Duals in 81.  Biggest diff is the comstars and 4-4.   Other than the custom sidecover badges thats about it for the 80.

My CB650 is a 1979 and has comstars and double discs on the front but as its the Police version maybe these were in the specs.

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

4-1 is aftermarket.    Hush yours is a z model so that is diff also.

Its a import thing.   The USA Z's (only model in 79) had single disk and black (reverse) comstars.  From what I gather the rest of the world got a Z model with the original silver comsats and dual disk plus other diffs over the US model Z.  I think they got it for a few mor years also.
