Are these shocks anything special?
« on: September 11, 2008, 11:00:47 AM »
Came on my project bike, I like the look of originals better, and hate the yellow. Are they anything that someone recognizes or offers some sort of performance upgrade from stock? They are marked MDI 2DA.
Thanks

They look old and worn out...unless they are rebuildable probably not worth the trouble? Just an assumption is all...don't know any real info about those shocks lol.

These reminded me of some shocks I had on a Superdream labelled as R+R. You can still buy similar ones labelled as Oxon. Very cheap and cheerful. Do the job but only just ;D

Those look like S&W shocks. Very good replacement for originals, back in the day. Take off the springs and check for damping. If they work, clean them up and try them.
